BILL GLASS PRISON MINISTRY – CHAMPIONS FOR LIFE

North East Ohio weekend dates – July 23rd and 24th, 2004

Specific Prayer Requests- Please pray that:

  1. Word of the opportunity to come to this prison ministry weekend "Champions For Life" reaches loving Christian Men and Women.
  2. The Holy Spirit will work on their hearts and move them to answer the call.
  3. All who desire to answer the call will be able to leave family and jobs for the time necessary.
  4. Those who do answer will travel to the area safely.
  5. As they arrive, a friendly and helpful representative of this ministry will meet them.
  6. Those who require housing will find what they need.
  7. Those who arrive by air will be furnished adequate and timely transportation to the headquarters hotel.
  8. Those who are first time volunteers will be provided the training and prayer support they need to give them the confidence to boldly speak to inmates and correctional staff as the Holy Spirit moves them.
  9. Reuniting with friends and making new ones will encourage those who are veterans.
  10. The staff and team captains arrive safely and with a heart at peace and open to the work of the Holy Spirit.
  11. Group transportation for the entire weekend is comfortable, sufficient and timely.
  12. The Spiritual Enrichment program on Friday morning inspires all volunteers, speakers and entertainers to perform the job they came to do with grace and skill.
  13. The teams that are chosen and assembled consist of the right members for the specific location to which they will be assigned.
  14. All participants depart for each prison fed and from illness or physical mental distraction.
  15. All participants go about safely to their assigned tasks.
  16. The speakers and entertainers perform their task with a heart open to the Holy Spirit.
  17. The speakers travel to and from their assigned program areas safely, comfortably and in a timely manner.
  18. The information and menu shared at the evening group dinners be of quantity and quality that provides sustenance to body and soul.
  19. Friendly, able and willing people serve the group dinners efficiently.
  20. All participants get the rest and sleep needed during the weekend to maintain the level of physical activity required to go about the day seeking persons willing to listen to The Good News of the Gospel.
  21. The Warden and staff of the institutions allow full access to the inmates by our volunteers as well as follow up opportunities for fellowship with new believers, volunteers and other inmates.
  22. All participants return to their homes Sunday safely, with a renewed enthusiasm for evangelism.
  23. That many will come to know and believe in Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
